Dr Suman Aryal is a Research Fellow at Institute for Agriculture and the Environment, University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He is also a Visiting Research Fellow at the Scientific Information Center for Resources and the Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Lanzhou, China; and a founder member of Siddhartha Environmental Services, Kathmandu, Nepal. His research interest includes vulnerabilities and resilience of socio-ecological systems in the context of non-traditional factors (eg. climate change, globalisation, migration, tourism and conservation), environmental impact assessment (EIA) and climate change adaptation.
