Nicole is a Director of URPS, an Adelaide and Melbourne based urban and regional planning firm , and has specialities in climate change adaptation, natural resources management planning, and innovative community engagement practice. Nicole has played a leadership or specialist role in numerous regional and sector based climate change adaptation planning processes around the state. In particular, Nicole's work involves designing and delivering stakeholder driven integrated vulnerability assessments and adaptation plans, and implementing processes that engage communities in conversations around adaptation and resilience. Nicole has been a member of the Premier’s Climate Change Council since 2011 which provides independent advice to the South Australian Government regarding climate change mitigation and adaptation, and is currently serving her third three year term.
