Susan Hunt is currently undertaking a PhD in disaster resilience policy at the ANU. Prior to this, she worked in emergency management in various roles within the Australian Government for approximately 8 years including: health security and national health incident management, national disaster recovery assistance and managing the secretariat for the Australian and New Zealand Emergency Management Committee. Her professional background is in nursing and health promotion and she has a Masters Degree in Public Policy.
