Fred is a physicist with experience working on numerical modelling of environmental problems for CSIRO. He has worked on bioremediation of groundwater contamination, atmospheric transport of carbon dioxide, fisheries stock dynamics, flooding from the sea and science education. Currently he is the Climate Change officer for Tasmanias Clarence City Council.
