Ignacio has a background in family medicine and public health. He is currently Senior Lecturer and Public Health Discipline Coordinator in the School of Public Health and Social Work, QUT. His research includes refugee health and settlement, social determinants of health, and the impact of environmental disasters on marginalized populations.
