Dr. Nadine Marshall is a senior social scientist with CSIRO, Land and Water, based in Townsville. Her research focuses on the relationship between people and natural resources for the purposes of protecting environmental goals whilst minimising social impacts. Nadine holds various formal advisory positions with local, state and federal governments, and currently manages a portfolio of research projects across a range of agricultural and marine based industries and communities. She currently leads the Social and Economic Long Term Monitoring Program (SELTMP) for the Great Barrier Reef.
