• Panel Session 2 - Vulnerable and disadvantaged communities

Vulnerable and disadvantaged people may be among the first and worst hit by climate change – even in developed countries like Australia.  One of the three ‘Outcome’ pillars for the Federal Government’s adaptation outlook is that ‘disadvantaged groups can manage their climate risks’.  This panel, convened together with the Australian Council of Social Service (ACOSS), will wrestle with how this objective can be delivered.
